How it works

Small goals, big steps.

Every lesson combines caring for the pony and riding, with small goals so each pupil moves forward at their own pace.

What lessons are like

Lessons of 45 to 50 minutes in groups of 4 or 5 pupils at most. We start with pony care and introduce riding step by step, until each pupil can handle the pony independently.

What they learn

  • Pony care: brushing, cleaning and tacking up
  • Discovering and enjoying the sport through small goals
  • Gaining independence on the pony
  • Respect for and confidence with animals

And once they can

When they reach the level, they can take part in club and regional competitions and move up to the Pony and horse school.

What to bring

  • Comfortable long trousers
  • Closed shoes with a small heel
  • Riding hat (we can lend one)
